Friends of CMWN
You can support the network by becoming a Friend of CMWN. Friends are people from local communities and elsewhere who wish to support the activities of the network. To datemany friends have come along to share our social activities and to offer volunteering help in various ways.
Friends of the network are welcome to all our social activities and we welcome suggestions and creative ideas.
Organise a fund raising activity
Offer support by befriending a member for shopping trips and outings - with an aim to giving opportunities for the practise of English as a second language.
Teachers can offer to teach conversational English to small informal groups.
You may be able to offer your professional skills, as an invaluable contribution in many instances.
